Orla Kiely AW/10

i have to say that orla kiely is such a big inspiration to me. i love her entire collections, seriously. and the Autum Winter 2010 collections are something to keep my eyes on. i just took some collections i’m head-over-heels-in-love-with from the website.

should wait for the next sale. haha. last summer sale i managed to buy the stem print sling bag which was on 50% discount. that was probably the best purchase i did last summer (in fact, that’s the only thing i bought for me last summer).

relieved!

(drumroll backsound)

i’ve finally submitted my report! it’s now a wrap! woohooo. maybe the result will be out next month. ok, i know my work it’s not a perfect one. but i did try my best, as best as i could. so, nothing to lose. God will do the rest. however the mark is, i know i deserve that. that’s my portion. just keep on praying and believing.

the pictures were taken last Sunday after church. amazing preach it was. i know it wasn’t by coincidence that the preach fitted my recent life very well. He wanted to  speak to me and strengthen my soul. well, life is full of uncertainties, but why so worry if we stand on a firm foundation?! God is the firm foundation. stand on Him :)

i’m enjoying my free days as much i can now. will apply for part time job within next week(s)!

what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger

no matter how tough it is, in 3 days it’s gonna be a wrap! wish me luck.

Oxford Weekend

Morning! last weekend i went to Oxford to celebrate the accomplishment of my experiments (although i still have report to finish haha). since the last 3 months i’ve been travelling to Oxford quite often because boyfriend got an internship placement in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. it’s about 20 minutes by bus from the city of Oxford. I love Oxford. the ambiance is very classic and traditional, peaceful yet still lively. i might prever living in Oxford rather than in Cambridge. well, no offense. hmm, living here someday maybe? fingers crossed. God has the way.

the main reason i went to Oxford was to visit boyfriend and to spoil my tummy with delicious delicacies (i got the THAI ICE TEA, i tell you!!!!). so we did quite stopping-by some restaurants instead of visiting touristy places. pictures above can’t really tell Oxford even just for a glance. there are actually a lot to see there, regarding it’s history as the city with the oldest university in it (Oxford University) and so on. but i was really in a rush so maybe i should make another go (i’ll definitely do. there’s always another time, isn’t it?). i love Oxford.

anyway, i miss travelling while playing with my camera. the fact that it’s quite big and heavy kind of bothers me. so for the simplicity reason, i just use phone camera. well, it’s not that i want to get another camera the smaller one. nope. i’m happy with my camera now. if i am to change this camera, i would get me even the bigger one. haha. Nikon D 90. but my olympus is enough just now.

oh, it’s monday again?!

my apology to any of you who by chance tried to load this blog and failed. there was a sort of engineering work due to server breakdown or whatsoever. i did seriously try to swallow what my boyfriend mentioned as server explosion (that sounds spooky, doesn’t it?) but i still can’t get the idea what it is actually all about. so there is a server (?) and fire nearby, and BANG! it exploded, maybe? anyway, i’m a dumb, don’t take my previous hypothesis too serious. haha. all i know is: my blog is back to me. many thanks to the smartest boyfriend ever!

anyway, i had a haircut, new hairstyle now. below pictured me right after having the haircut (blow dry)

i think the hairdresser took my hair too much, it’s way too short now. and as i’ve washed my hair, now i look completely different. haha. it isn’t as sleek as that in the picture, instead messy-wavy hair is back here. and thank God with this hairstyle i look even chubbier! i’ve been trying really hard to flatten my chubby cheeks. but that seems to be an impossible project. so i come to the state that maybe i just have to accept myself the way i am. my chubby cheeks are all in the gene!

i had a magical weekend in oxford. will do weekend post later. i must write up my report now and analyse my results (my experiment is finally complete! ain’t that good??) ok, talk to you lateeerrr. please kindly wish me the luckiest luck :)
