as usual, i hate packing stuffs that i’m urged to do right now. help me!

1. Bugis Junction. there are many boutiques stand over there. but i hate the price, expensive for such kind of boutique. fiuh. moreover it was very crowded. i hate crowd. but anyway, i bought a necklace. while my little brother bought many of his stuffs : LEGO, PS3 games. uh i envy him cos i didn’t find any interesting item with interesting price, huhu.
2. Orchard Road (nge ann city) where the big department store from Japan named Takashimaya lies. mommy was kindhearted-ly bought me some stuffs apart from the pocket money she has given to me, hihi.
3. new year’s misa (service) at Bethany Church in Orchard Tower. the preach was so meaningful and touched my heart deeply.  i’m quite prepared to welcome the new year with new spirit and optimist point of view while still asking for His guidance in every single step i’ll make.
4. new years eve at Starbucks, shaw plaza ,enjoying the new year euphoria with people saying “happy new year” all way long. but i hate the snow sprayer! i was sprayed several times, yaiks.
5. back to far east apartment and held a little celebration with family. i went to bed at 4 in the morning!

This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .

HAPPY NEW YEAR. goodbye 2008, welcome 2009. let us learn from the past to set a bright future. God bless us

1. Harbourfront (harbour centre), we went there to book ferry tickets from Singapore (Harbourfront) to Batam (harbour bay) and also to check in. just to make sure that our back home in 2nd jan is all undercontrol, unlike that day we left from Batam.
2. Harbourfront (Vivo City Mall) : shopping, window shopping and take picture. i didn’t shop too many actually considering there are still 2 days left. i was more of looking around, put those things i want in my mind, think which one i really want and need, and decide at the end. hahahaa.
3. city hall (Raffles Mall), looked around and did some shopping. the mall is more sophisticated and branded than vivo city so i only bought one sale blouse.
4. city hall (Esplanade), no shopping cos we lost energy due to long walk. we were  very exhausted. so we only splurged the time by enjoying the view of sky high  building, city light around, and taking pictures like crazy.

and then go back to far east apt. tomorrow : bugis junction and orchard.

a long and tiring trip! it was actually my second’s visit to Sentosa, since 9 years ago and many things have changed. the checkpoints are : underwater world, dolphin lagoon, merlion, songs of the sea. the attractions were so so, except songs of the sea which turned out super duper marvelous! very beautiful..i enjoyed it so much. while the rest, hmm, i even prefer Ancol in Indonesia to those 3 checkpoints. it was the terrible crowd that made me hardly enjoy the whole trip. and at the end, i desperately needeed a foot massage, hehe.

i should never ever forget to bring my passport and my brother’s birthday gift otherwise he and my daddy will kill me. hehehe. i keep remembering those things from this morning though i haven’t managed to put them in my baggage yet until now hihi.

p.s. my little brother just created his own facebook and yahoo. and he is very much thrilled by these two-new-toys. oh my God, i can’t stop laughing at his weird yet so centil acts. ahahahaha. ABG banget sihhh kau!

anyway, HAPPY HOLIDAY EVERYBODY! have a great one

i’m Batak. i bring “Siahaan” as my last name and i’m so proud of it! hehehe. but if you think i lived in Medan for a long time, you are totally wrong. i was born in Jakarta. and let say i stayed there for about six years because then my parents took the whole family moved to Manado due to my father’s job. There in Manado i spent my childhood life. about six years later i graduated from elementary school in Manado. And then we moved again to Magelang, a very small yet so calm town in Central Java, lies between Semarang and Yogyakarta. i had my geeky-embarrassing era as a junior high school student in Magelang. 3 years passed by, we moved again to Semarang, the capital of Central Java, stayed there for only 3 years! because right after i graduated from the senior high school, i moved to Bandung due to the pursuit of university *yes, ITB!* and my parents and little brother are still moving from one city and another. After Semarang, they moved to Medan *back to nature hihihi*. so we’ve been apart since that point. i only visit Medan for special occasions, and it’s not that often either. usually we gather in Jakarta in holiday season, considering the plane’s ticket price too! hahahaaa. but now, fortunately, my parents and little brother move to Jakarta. it means that we’ll have lots of chances to meet each other! However, my parents built a house in Semarang cos they had decided to spend their time after retirement there, and it’s the only house we have actually. though they are now managing to build another in Jakarta. so i often answered Semarang when people asked about where i came from just because i have no idea! yeah, it’s weird.

yeah, that’s my amazing moving-out experience. FYI, my father works for the civil electricity company. that’s the only reason why we moved a lot! hehe. based on those facts, i don’t really have a certain destination for christmas or any holidays. yes, i’m confused. hhehee. after having those complicated-moving eras, i consider my hometown is where my family belongs to. it can be anywhere as long as i have them along with me. ehehe. as i’m still single (not married yet), family refers to my parents, my sister and my brother. and surprisingly, those travelling and moving experiences turn me to be a person who is very passionate about travelling. i want to see this world, i want to go here and there and everywhere! hehee. and yes, it will be my whole life achievements. i wish He, upstairs, is listening

now one question’s left. where’s my next destination?! “oh God, please make it there” hihihi. amen!
