fabulous friday

friday used to be the most favourite day of college. not anymore now because it doesn’t relieve me that weekend is coming. well, but this time i decided to enjoy the atmosphere of friday. mingled with the people around city centre and did a little shopping (yes, again. kill me!) the dress i’ve been hankering for since forever was on sale. and me being such an impulsive one thought that i was a stupid if i blew it off. haha.

don’t you miss my picture? or just pretend you do. haha. anyway, tomorrow i’m going to York. woohoo! (the weather forecast news says tomorrow is going to rain. i don’t care anyway.) let’s rock York. xx

oh yeah, 1 more essay and 2 exams!!!! i suppose this summer holiday i’ll 80% stay here in the UK though i’d love to travel overseas. i don’t see any possibilities so far. i hope i still can travel around the UK in between research project. finger crossed.

story of cooking and eating as mood boosters

These past few days have been a splendid sunny ones. But there’s no way I can enjoy that splendid time because “splendid” assignments are obviously waiting for my nurture.

I hate that many times I couldn’t reach the deadline I made my own as there’s always something distract me. It bugs me yet I naturally follow those distractions. so there’s no use to grumble. Boyfriend suggests that I just need to be loose a bit in setting target.

also these past few days i’ve been cooking my own dish more frequently than usual. i wish it isn’t just a temporary habit. haha. it’s sort of miraculous that during these tough days i found cooking then eating my own dish has some kind of power to appease my mind. and i feel happy agaiinn! regardless the taste (which i personally think they taste delicious, anyway!). and in addition to that, I can save quite some amount of money.

finger crossed i’m going to be a good mom and wife one day. LOL.

i think it’s good to have something that can turn us from bad mood to happy mood, instantly. well yeah, holiday always works for me. but we can’t always have it spontaneously, thus needs of preparation and some amount of money. try to seek for something cheap or free. because sometimes the best things in life are free. x

room stuffs

finally cleaned my room. and i took pictures of some stuffs in my room as you see above. people say that someone’s personality can be slightly guessed by looking at his/her bedroom. so, how would you describe mine? hehe..

i know it’s such a waste of time blogging (and editing pictures) in between assignments. but i am too lazy to write my essay. sigh.

weekend madness

weekend already? do u notice why time runs this fast from monday to friday lately then weekend comes? or it’s just me because i have to write many thousands words and i just simply don’t want time to pass by fast? I’ll spend this weekend (and next two weekends) working with assignments and hopefully soon enough (next 3 weeks) I’ll be somewhere around York. finger crossed.

sooooo, i wish you have a magical weekend!

(just talked to mom for about 1 hour. God, i so miss a family- gathering-weekend.)

to sum up..

just to summarise about holland. those things in the pictures are what i think holland are famous of. well, there’s one missing: cheese. considering the fact that i despise cheese to death (haha) i didn’t visit any places related to cheese making. just couldn’t stand the smell. so i have no picture of cheese. and a couple of things i’d like to add, hmm, i found out that KFC in holland has the crispy fried chicken!!! (just like in Indonesia) i was so thrilled that i ate a lot of pieces of their fried chicken. haha. ah, so mouth-watering. i rarely ate KFC here in England because i don’t like the original one. i want crispyyyy! and i also found out that Dutch people are very very nice and friendly. they like to greet each other even if they’ve never met or known before. haha.

and my aunt’s family is very warm. they treated me very well and i felt so welcome. aunt cooked home-dishes (hot and spicy Indonesian food) during my stay i was so spoiled. and i love the kids, especially the little one, although we rarely communicated in a proper way. he speaks dutch, a little english and no Indonesian. while i don’t speak Dutch at all, but speak Indonesian and English. now you notice the odds. haha. but we were bestfriends. his name is michael and he likes chicken (kip in Dutch) haha. he wants to have little chicken as his pet. haha. strange obsession. he’s also obsessed with komodo. he asked me once “do you like komodo chicken?” haha. kids.

ok, now i have to go back to work. a very hard one because i have massive deadlines for next month. and exams! and just to motivate me to do my best, i plan a travel destination for next holiday although i’m not sure yet when and where. for the time i have to options, after exams (june) but for only a week because i’m pretty sure my thesis will miss me a huge, or after i finish my thesis (september. amen! please pray for me guys. hehe.) and for the places hmm, ireland? eastern europe? scotland? or other places. i basically can’t choose now where to go because i want to go everywhere. just see where my heart goes to later.

ok, enough rambling. work hard! xxxx
