new this weekend! well, for my sister actually. not mine. hehe.

i was actually thinking to buy myself the similar one. but after several thoughts, now it’s confirmed that i’m after the lomo lc-a instant back+ one. sure gonna cut a lot of spending on clothes and unnecessary things this month and next month. i swear to God i’m so in love. find the resulted pictures here.
anyway, the diana instant back+ looks really cute and pretty. still, i want my lc-a!
if i’m broke now, it’s all because of polaroid films. they take all my money. haha, i smell white lies here. of course it isn’t the fault of polaroid film solely. but it’s true that i’m broke now. and it’s also true that i can’t seem to afford the film price nowadays. well, since the company discontinued the production of polaroid 600 camera and film, it has been really difficult to get the stock up of polaroid 600 films. i usually bid on ebay from people who did stock up, and some of them have expired. i just can’t believe how they put the price that high now! i still remember few months back the price was still okay. now, it’s just too exaggerating. but the thing is, i love polaroid. i can’t give up on it. sort of…obsessed!

good news, the polaroid company produces this polaroid 300 instant camera. if you see it carefully, it’s very similar to fuji instax instant camera. well, the rumour has it that this product is actually the rebranded Fujifilm, from the source i read. i want one. i just can’t get enough of this thing: instant camera. there are also other options, the lomo lc-a back instant+ is a good oneĀ but for me, it is really pricey! some lomo cameras have additional equipment that make them act as instant cameras. my sister has been lusting over mini diana with flash and additional polaroid equipment. a lot of people now have fuji instax instant camera. see? instant cameras are much loved now. well, i know we can snap pictures with digital modern cameras and later do some photoshops or editing to give a little bit vintage touch as we wish. but, using the instant camera directly is something different, something classy, something sensational and extremely fun! me, i still love my polaroid 600 film to bits. i just wish they continue the production or however reduce the price for the films. so i can afford it! haha.
looks like i’m campaigning for instant cameras. haha.
I’m never being hard on designer stuffs. but I can feel exactly that Orla Kiely has a very strong magnet. I am mesmerized. I MUST save money (i know it will be tough. haha).

above are my favourites. oh and the bags are the cutest on earth. really keen on visiting the Covent Garden Shop after collecting some bucks. sometimes it is worth saving more money for fancy thing, isn’t it? even for a poor student like me. haha.
I’ve been keeping my eyes on these cutie below ever since. They are just lovely.

they are looking delicious, aren’t they? i’m totally paralysed!
see the complete collection in bonjourmouncoussin (they have cute bags too!). will manage the budget to purchase those sweeties someday when i’m no longer a student, and earn some money. maybe saving pocket money might work, but don’t believe me when i say “i’ll save money”. i’m never good at saving money yet still hopelessly working on it.
p.s. ah, but a gift sounds like an idea. haha. anyone?
I was not into painting before. I even know nothing about paintings and the painters (except the famous Monalisa by Leonardo Da Vinci). But when I went to Tate Modern Museum in London last week, I found myself a bit interested in paintings, even though I can’t paint at all. haha. It’s the part of guessing the meaning behind the paintings and seeing the combination of colours in it that excite me. I know most of the time I can’t make an exact guess. haha. But it’s just exciting, indeed. And most of all, I like seeing the colours in paintings.
If I were asked about who is my most favourite, I think i’d go for Van Gogh. He is originally Dutch, but spend some of his lifetime working in Paris, France. I love his paintings though I haven’t seen all the collections. But for sure, the colours of his paintings are so beautiful. I’d really love to see all of his collections that I’m after the Van Gogh’s Exhibition in Royal Academy of Arts, London on my next visit to London (still a month to go. ah!). maybe I need to study about his paintings and biography before my visit. very keen on it!
Oh well, his masterpieces are Sunflowers, Starry Night, Irises and The Potato Eaters.
