new year’s eve story

HAPPY NEW YEAR, PEOPLEEEE! how’s your new eve? we held a very laid-back celebration with my sister, boyfriend, and a friend. we cooked our own (spaghetti, roast chicken, pancake), ate like crazyyy, watched movies, laughed, took pictures, played game. and the most important… we prayed together. I used to have this kind of tradition with family around. But glad that we have a fun little celebration here. In fact, I have never gone out to a party in the new year’s eve in my whole life.

The picture may tell stories. As we didn’t want to make it hard to ourselves to join the crowds during new year’s eve (particularly to see fireworks), we thought that having the countdown with the TV and and enjoying the fireworks through it would do enough. so there we went with the crazy ideas. took pictures with the fireworks on the TV. hahaha. massive amount of fun here.

anyway, hope this year will be a good year for us all! happier than before, merrier than before, healthier than before, and all the good things!

finding a little vintage store

When strolling around the Penzance city centre, I discovered a little vintage store (actually there were some vintage stores there, but I was head over heels in love with this particular one). My bad, I can’t seem to remember the name of this store. Below are some sneak peeks of the store.

I’ve always had a hook on vintage decorations, honestly. So, that little trip pretty much pleased me especially my eyes. Morever, they had a really outdated SLR and lomo cameras I fell in love with. Well, fingers crossed I can come back some other time and take them with me. (I’m still obsessed) haha. It was so much fun that I think I need to do this kind of trip more often. hmm..

sometimes I want to get crazy…

and i acted weirdly as you see above. haha. well, i just found a new playground, rollip. and a little bit played. it is a good one (no license needed haha!) oh well, that’s the dress i mentioned in several posts back. haha.

spring break, hurry come!

just spent quite some time with my old crush, polyvore. and i fall in love agaiinnn. it’s been awhile since i create a new set. and the theme  for now is travelling.

travel companion:
DSLR camera, polaroid camera, passport, eurostar ticket, train ticket, comfy bag, make up bag

plan to go shopping (under budget) for this spring break this weekend. i haven’t been on shopping for ages, trust me. and i’m feeling like i need one now. teehee.. anyway the trip is confirmed: London-Paris-Brussel-Amsterdam-London, with  my aunt and her family.

spring is hereeee. has been raining since monday. i want sun. fiuh. but those flowers in front of my library really ease me during essay days. the green area has turned into a flower garden. i’m so merry and blithe. oh life is beautiful.

Curry dinner

Oh well, I finally write again. Life is treating me well, apart from essay hand ins (next month). But exactly last night I went out with some friends for a curry dinner. I wasn’t really a fan of curry before. But, yesterday meal’s was not that bad although I still have no gut to eat lamb, haaha. I can’t remember the name of the restaurant. Five of us: me, sara, amelie, selin and her friend, portak. The three girls are my classmates in chemical engineering and portak is selin’s friend from turkey (he’s on holiday here). Full of laughs and crazy conversations. haha.

those four pictures are taken in an indian restaurant somewhere around selly oak. then we move to goose for some drinks.

my days of fulfilling master degree will be so boring without them. unfortunately, this term is only for optional modules. a lot of time we are in different class. but never mind, we can always arrange time to do some fun either during the class break or anytime we are free. next dinner is at amelie’s house I reckon.
