London jaunt upon my leaving

Some days upon my leaving, I made a little visit to London for a temporary goodbye (haha). A friend was also on a visit to the UK, so boyfriend and I took him for a jaunt. Believe it or not, I didn’t edit a single thing in the picture. Nice weather with sun-flooding made the sky look THAT blue. Oh, I wanted to kiss the weather, if by any means I could.

I miss England although living here at home (in Indonesia) is just as lovely. All I can say, England had me discover the joy and happiness in simple little things. Now, as I’m grappling with everything to continue life, I look forward to discovering more of life! wishful thinking!

Anyway, just a sneaky thought, buying an open-return ticket (yes I got my hand on one, yay!) actually means I have chance to come back for a holiday, yes or no?? I know, it’s a little too much a wishful thinking! First thing first: get a job and earn money, since the bills clearly aren’t going to pay themselves.

Enough rants, to gym! Toodles…

beautiful dusk

On Sunday afternoon (or evening?), whilst I was sitting at the living room and looking through the window, my eyes spotted a beautiful dusk view at the sky. Of course, I take it rude not to grab a camera and capture that beauty, therefore I did. Isn’t it an alluring view? This simple little thing worked magically to please my self-being, when retail therapy didn’t seem to do the job.

My last weekend was a bit of whirlwind (but I had a great time in Bandung) and I’m very certain that everybody had a much better Monday than I did. It was a jittery day but I’m gonna snap out of it, not so long. This morning I woke up feeling good as fact, so supposedly it’s a good sign. Have a good day, all!

another weekend in Bandung

They are some pictures of last weekend in Bandung. I’m in Bandung again this weekend (for the third times in 2 weeks only, woottt!), with my sister. In fact, I’m NOW posting from our hotel room. Of course, I am taking the full advantage of this hotel’s perk, free and fast internet access. The connection at my home is nuts and out of my head but I’m cool, of course I am… you know I am, don’t you? Ok, that’s a lie, I’m not. Have a lovely weekend y’all! Don’t let anything drive you nuts! Toodles.

Style Crush: Hanneli Mustaparta

Here’s to new inspiration! Hanneli Mustaparta is my recent muse. She used to be a catwalk model but she left and now becomes a contributing photographer for Vogue and fashion blogger. I love all of her styling works and the street style shots she has taken.

And more than just her works, she also got a decent style I’m all the way into! Take a look below…

Well, deep inside my heart I really want to be a professional blogger/writer/contributing photographer that I slightly thought of enrolling a journalism course. but…. if I did, I would go very contrary to my education background. I’m not that brave to make an extreme change in a short run that I keep it just as a dream for now and go on with the path according to my background. Someday, somehow, I’ll come back to realise this secret dream. It’s just about time… Has anyone been in the same boat? Have your say!

Weekenders

It goes without saying that spending weekend in Bandung is a little bit too brash for a decision. It is the nerve-wracking and packed traffic I’m talking about. However, not even a single hesitation we had. We even disputed the fact that our blood pressure might spike dramatically. and…. to Bandung we went! Several years back, I didn’t understand why gazillions of people (especially those from Jakarta) got to spend weekend there. Now I sort of get why, think of two hour drive only from the capital and reaching a city of slightly different atmosphere. Adding to that, a lot of gastronomic spree! Ok, let’s just cut those crappy introduction lines, before I keep on talking as if I’m a tourism board representative.

Attending a career-days (or Job fair?) event was actually my main reason of going and spending weekend in there but I only paid a visit to the first day, on Friday. My sister and brother came along and we just couldn’t stay not to explore the city. As for my sister and I, we went to the same university so that time was all reminiscence about the places we used to go to eat, to hang out, to church, etc. Some of my cousins are still studying and working there, and boyfriend’s family lives there so most of the time was spent on meeting up and catching up stories or updates with them. Next week, I’m going again. Haha.. See you soon, Bandung!

I’m developing my lomo film soon, so expect for some nicer pictures to come! Crossing fingers they will be a charm, not the other way round. Have a good Monday, peopleeeee!
