It happened my little cousins invaded our tiny apartment last weekend and slept over our place. I loved that their visit broke our mundane days and compelled joyful vibe into our place. Those cracking laughs, silly jokes, even epic fight were delighting really. All in all, our place was stirred with happiness and we had a fantastic time. I’m so thankful for that. Looking forward to next visits and meetings with them!

How are your days anyway? I’ve been through a lot of things lately. But no matter what and how they are, they do deserve my simple gratitude. Thank God, for letting things happen and for always be there by my side. Good night, you gorgeous people!

I remember, when I was a kid, I was obsessed of two things of all other things: mickey mouse and miniature stuff. The latter is what I’m going to talk about now. I have a crush on things in miniature size that I almost pursued a degree in Architecture hoping I could make a model of city or building. But my awful drawing skill pushed me back, unfortunately. There was also a type of toy named “polly pocket” back then at my 9th to 15th that I collected and wholeheartedly loved. (In fact, as I’m writing this, I wonder where they all go now.) Several times I made a visit to children’s store and wandered along the toy alleys, I noticed that polly pocket is still in the market but it’s a lot different now and frankly  speaking, I love the old ones better. Now it comes in bigger size. I don’t get what’s the reasoning behind when to me polly pocket means miniature land. Ok, forget my rants, that’s not the main point.

My point is, my awe of miniature things forced me to do something on photoshop ground. I have been playing a while with tilt-shift effect on photoshop which results can be seen above. It wasn’t too complicated anyway plus there are many tutorials provided in the internet-sphere. All we need to do is try and try until we’re happy with the results. I really fancy the fairytale vibe this tilt-shift effect brings. And now, all of a sudden I crave for taking pictures from places up high to tilt-shift them and create miniature effect. Anyway, those are pictures of Edinburgh city view taken from up of the Edinburgh castle.

Those are pictures of last weekend when he was visiting to Jakarta. Well, boredom can’t have me when le boyfriend, that guy in the picture, is around. I just got to tell it despite the probability of being mocked by him right after he reads this post (hello, boyfriend, i know you read this!).

I know it. This blogging thingy has got me so deeply that I don’t feel it right to have no post for a week. It’s funny though to say that I’m addicted to blogging, ha! But I probably am, anyway.. sure it isn’t a harm, or is it? I still don’t have any interesting stories to share now I’m afraid, but for my own sake I need to write and post something just because I love blogging, haha. Here we go.. street-style picks !

Anyway, let me tell you something… After all this time I become a stalker and religiously check on to street-style-related blogs, I have to admit that I’m currently growing a sort of secret dream. Well, sort of…. A secret dream that someday while I’m walking on the street (on my pj’s, perhaps?!), there might be a street-style photographer who suddenly stops my way and says.. “Can I take a picture of you featuring your street-style?”. The exact moment that I will jump, literally, and scream agressively “Sureeeeee!!!!!! I’ve been dreaming for this time?!!! Oh thank God!!! take as many as you please”. I wish boyfriend weren’t there at that moment, otherwise he would …. I don’t know I can’t even imagine. He would run, I guess.. or drag me away from that imaginary photographer, or slap me until I wake up from being delusional.

The pictures above pretty much show the looks and outfits I’m coveting around this time. Since I’m bored to death now, let’s play a little bit, please?! Ok, here we go.. find one similarity of all pictures or a piece of thing that appears in all. Exactly, long skirt it is! I’m all the way into long skirt these days, especially the kinds that come with many layers, nice and unique colours/prints, and slouchy. The kinds that are good to go with everything. It’s actually the first thing I want to splash my money on when I’m no longer under this shopping-ban. Heaven knows when…

Oh and the green pair of killer heels in the first picture….. You really don’t think I would stand on them, do you? It’s just the dainty colour I’m craving for. Wearing them is another story and would actually require a fierce decision being taken.

Last but not least, I need a bit of favour here. I don’t want to sound so whiny a person can be, but I’m just a human being after all. One question.. how do you usually cope with boredom?? My traditional ways of killing boredom couldn’t seem to help that much. Some fresh ideas from you would help, I believe.
