I love the picture above, which randomly appeared in my tumblr’s timeline and was reblogged from misswallflower‘s tumblr. And there is a high likeliness that I will post this 5-good-things-on-Monday regularly. So here comes the list for this Monday…
1. made some changes in about me section. check it out.
2. groceries shopping. lots of food ingredients and all that, my fridge is now packed (mostly of snacks)
3. gonna make a tiramisu cake today, fingers crossed about the result.
4. new polaroid films are coming! woohoo! I bid and bought from ebay long time ago, by the way.
5. happened to listen to disney songs just as I woke up. It’s been awhile and I suddenly felt magical, haha!
Hope your Monday is bearable no matter what.

Pictures were taken in front of my church. Funny (or rather stupid) story this morning, I went to church with boyfriend and we arrived 10 minutes late. I was being so fussy yet cheerful, insisted that he take some pictures of me before we entered the building (with my big camera. I did make the hard effort to bring that camera to church) anddddd…. it took five snaps until we finally were aware that the camera was card-less, as in no card in that camera to save pictures. Those pictures taken before just dissapeared to vanity. I felt so stupid, how could I forget to put the card back to the camera?! Ok, there’s nothing out of ordinary here. That’s actually the classic style of me, forgetting things (grandma is my middle name, I guess). Boyfriend’s phone camera came to recover from that mess, resulting in the pictures above being taken. But my boyfriend, as being so obnoxious as he is, he teased me after the church time with his obnoxious voice “Oh, really, I’m feeling like taking thousands of pictures of you with that big camera right now. Really, I mean it. But the card… Oh that’s a shame.” I hate him, sometimes. But yes, I love him.
I was having a nice lunch out today after church, so tummy is at the happiest now. In a bit, I’m heading to the cinema to catch up with some new movies. Have a glorious Sunday, dear friends!
Just something that pleased my eyes this morning. Orla Kiely’s Spring Summer 2011 lookbook.

I’ve been fond of her designs ever since I heard about her. It’s always that jolt of excitement I feel when the new season’s lookbook is out, which I often end up gushing over. She (Orla Kiely) has a special knack in picking unique prints, colours, and cute cuttings. All in all, vintage looks! Well, my currently-leading-a-frugal-life makes it a little bit too rude if I force myself to get one of the collection about now. I’m hoping to be able to get one of them as soon as I’ve found a stable ground (as in earning some money) or when my piggybank can afford (by cutting other expenses, which doesn’t sound so right about this time). In the meantime, if highstreet shops had quite some similar styles, that would do more than fine to me and I would strongly consider. Seriously, her collection has in many ways inspired me, remarkably. “to die for” probably comes as better yet dramatic for words to define what I feel about the collection.

Happy weekend!! Pictures were actually taken at one weekend a couple weeks ago, when a rather nice weather was having the town. I wish that nice weather were back again today for the sake of a merrier weekend. However, it went the contrary just as soon as I woke up this morning and saw through the window: light rain and epic wind. 1000 mph or something, perhaps, just in my sense (well, don’t take that number too seriously, it just came in a snap into my mind). BBC weather forecast for today didn’t allow me to expect for the sunshine, so just go with it. There’s nothing human can do with the weather, by the way, so moaning or grumbling won’t help much, but rather make it worse. I should really go for an alternative form of fun, sans good weather. There must be at least one, wishful thinking!
I’m often amazed at the power of time on how it changes someone. Let’s say, from someone who used to be thoughtless about cooking to someone who apparently becomes very much interested in cooking. This two year time has led me to discover the hideous and tremendeous amount of joy inside this activity, cooking. I’m this excited to try new recipes about soon, as excited as a primary student after hearing an announcement of school tour plan/holiday. That’s a bit irrelevant but yeah, you know what I mean.

It is seafood fried noodle in the first picture, and hainan chicken rice in the second. I love to feel good with everything that goes into my mouth, as in food I’m taking. So many times, I found that eating good food could ludicrously yet immensely aid my being in the bad mood, which can be a good thing, surely?!
