It’s been a while I haven’t made a happy list. Here we go with the newest happy list. It doesn’t actually mean that the previously made lists are no longer valid. It’s just kind of cute to make an update, isn’t it? Well, you know what, just say yes. Here they are!
1. drink a lot of water after tired running and sweating. nothing beats that kind of feeling!
2. develop film roll without knowing how it would turn out. surprise! and ta-da! and voila!
3. the smell of sauteed onion when I’m cooking.
4. a little date with boyfriend. have desserts and share silly stories.
5. find a perfect pair of shoes which can go with about everything.
6. accidentally discover I still have some spare money for shopping spree
7. do groceries. and later find out my fridge is full and packed! happy kid!
8. watch comedy-romantic movies, and the feeling of almost-cry and touched. (that’s lame)
9. a day after successfully cleaning my room and wardrobe. I feel like I just achieved something BIG!
10.receiving packages/letters. (except bills and bank statements which I hope they were never sent to me)
How is this Monday treating you? It’s a cold day in Birmingham, I spent most of the day at home: browsing, listening to songs via spotify (today’s artist is She&Him. Love their songs!), watching TV, running, and cooking. Enjoy the rest of your Monday!

Truth is, the actionsampler and I didn’t quite hit it off from the very beginning. Picture of me above is the one and only good picture from all 18 pictures that came out of the film (it’s supposed to be 36 but half of the film dissapeared to nothing!) while the rest 17 pictures were all dark and fuzzy. But hey, I’m not giving up. I’ll load another film, again, and start the experiment. Pretty much hope the sun will show up these days ahead so I will be able to experiment outdoor.
Well, although it’s kind of late, I just want to humbly greet you HAPPY WEEKEND! and HAPPY SUNDAY! I just finished shower and will attend Sunday service just in a few minutes. So, I better get ready. Have a lovely day, folks! Catch you later.
p.s. I can’t wait for Sunday lunch!

Once upon a time, I was tidying up my room and surprisingly discovered some lomo films in my suitcase from my back-home trip (that’s been 3 months ago). I was that stupid, didn’t remember that I once bought and actually had those films. haha. Anyway, the redscale film was included in that surprising discovery. So, I loaded my camera (since it was unoccupied by that time) with it straight away. Then the whole experiment began, creating the pictures above. Some pictures are not good, honestly. I am still bewildered why many dots appeared in almost all pictures. Now, the lomography negative film ASA 400 is occupying my lc-a, and I’m about to begin a new adventure.
I think I should by now confirm that I have a perpetual love and craze for plastic cameras. Last time in London I went to a lomography shop in Carnaby street and whimsically gazed at a beauty called “sprocket rocket panorama” camera and, obviously, was totally smitten with that beauty. Way too tempting but just my luck, my special financial advisor (boyfriend) suggested that I should not let my money be spent on it these days for my own good. He’s actually saying “don’t buy it, ever!” but let’s just take it as “hold on, save some money until you can afford it”. I was born with a stern head, unfortunately. But it was quite a sudden heartbreak encountering something yet it can’t be yours about soon, don’t you think? Maybe I should stay far from stores of that kind before I’m getting too obsessed and mad. and broke.
Pictures were taken in birmingham city centre about the Victoria square, my favourite spot of the city.
I travelled Birmingham – London back and forth today and really had a blast! went there with friends and boyfriend. Nothing much we actually did. Arriving in London, we were 4 people suffered from hunger so we rushed to have a very nice and big thai lunch in Addie’s thai, Earl’s court. I have always loved the dishes they serve since the very first time I made a go to that place. Then we watched a musical play, “Wicked”, which was wickedly wicked, wickedly amazing. I really fancy the musical play, and plan to watch another (Lion King) in the near future! The play lasted about 2 hours 40 minutes, then after that we strolled along the oxford street, and finally had an Italian dinner somewhere in covent garden.
During the strolling-along and chilling-out time, I entered the Urban outfitters, didn’t buy clothes, but encountered craft books you will see in the pictures below. It didn’t took so long to decide to buy them. I couldn’t be happier.

One book contains crafty ideas and projects with all the guidelines. Another contains patterns to be ironed on t-shirts/bags/pillowcases to create beautiful things! Well, I’ve been thinking about doing some crafts as a tribute to my plenty-of-free-time. Guess I’m just about to realise it! I just want to make the best of everyday and to be honest, it is quite boring (and stressful) having nothing to do and looking for jobs, waiting for answers. I need to do something! I just have to achieve something, whatever that is. And this is ‘that’ something (aside from the fact that I cook everyday, too). We’ll see how I’m doing later.
I’m feeling artsy now. haha!
It would not be difficult to answer if I were asked who my style crush is. I would promptly answer “Alexa Chung!”, even before you finished asking. She got the world’s eyes on her now merely because of her famous style. and I am, too, a big fan!

A few years ago, I was looking around some magazines for some inspiration and I accidentally found it and decided it was her. I am really fond of the way she dresses effortlessly and, on the other hand, wonder how she can still look chic with that bed hair look-alike she is famous of. I got this messy-bed-hair look-alike most of the time, too, yet unfortunately I can’t pull it chic. haha. Well, her style just can never go wrong. As simple as that.
