apple crumble on sunday

Right after I worked my body out with 1 hour of running, it just came out of the blue that I really felt like baking. So there I went.. made an apple crumble! Well, despite the top layer being too thick, it was still delicious. Not too bad for an amateur like me. I put some vanilla ice cream too, as a finishing touch. On my next list, I’m gonna bake some cookies. I think I’m getting serious with this cooking-baking-thingy seeing how I very much enjoy the whole process. I love the odour of sauteed-things and almost cooked food. I also sneakily love dipping my fingers into dough then lick it. haha.

I hope you have a great weekend. Mine was really packed and hectic but still full of fun. I’m gonna be in London for 3 days starting from tomorrow. Hopefully, the weather will be cooperative enough during my visit so I can snap a lot of pictures. Toodles!

lomopictures from last holiday

It was such a great  time! I feel like going back to that time. haha. Anyway, it took about 1 month to develop the film roll. As I used the C41 film of which processing is quite rare and there’s no laboratory and chemicals for that type film in this town, they needed to be sent away somewhere. And the guy told me it would take only 5-7 days to process then I would be given a call once they were finished. But being so impatient as I’m naturally, I kept coming back regularly to check (every 2 days) after 7 days that he finally hated me, I guess. I just couldn’t wait any longer!! But finally they are here! Not all good ones, but I’m OK. I think I’m not gonna use that type of film again. A film originally from Lomography takes only 1 hour to process. But anyway, I’ve stocked up many lomo films because they were sold half-price when I bought them. wohoo! Have a good day, peopleee!

10 wardrobe essentials

I came across a blog titled blushing ambition by annabel whose style is very awe-inspiring. Love her blog! And inspired by her post, I feel the urge to make my own, too! My 10 wardrobe essentials:

Even though snow hasn’t been here anymore ever since christmas left, and spring is showing its fast-coming sign, it is still winter all the wayyy! And I still can’t take off my coat and thick outfit. I don’t cope very well with cold weather, to tell you the truth (although I kind of enjoy it too). So, overall my outfit everyday is pretty much the same as what you scan from the picture. I hate to admit that I love brown and tan colours. In fact, I very much do! It’s not that I don’t like bright colours. Only heaven knows why I always end up picking the brown/white when I’m out for shopping. I hope it isn’t a curse. I love colours. But I mostly go with the safe ones (brown, tan, white, black), aside from the red lipstick I give a go almost everytime I’m hanging out. But I’d love the idea of dressing more colourful this year.

miso soup for brunch

I cooked miso soup for brunch. Thanks to instant packs from Asian Gourmet I found in a Chinese market in my town. They actually give a cooking-dumb like me a hope and optimism for cooking. haha. As you’ve been told before, I’ve been cooking my own about everyday these days. I’m feeling so delirious with this new hobby and very much encouraged to be good! I think I’m gonna sneak some pictures of my creations in this little blog as often as I can.

Dear creatures

I must have taken the full advantage of internet muse. Mostly I rummage through websites which eventually leads to finding things! and mostly again, they are things related to clothes, bags, shoes, cameras, and food. Particularly for this post it was ‘clothes’. My rummaging brought me to finding the collection of dear creatures and turned out I fancied the entire collection.

They are my style-picks of Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. I’m coming across a bit late, I know, yet still I they are so pretty and casual that can go with about any seasons, aren’t they? Looking forward to seeing the spring/summer collection whilst gleaning some money in the meantime.
