We should cherish every single day as they are all worth it. But there must be one day we love the most among all days. Lately I’ve been thinking, maybe in my case, it is Sunday. See points below to figure out why.
1. Church time
I always feel grateful when Sunday comes. Eventhough I try to enjoy all days no matter what, I just can’t deny that weekdays are sometimes (often) tough. But it’s good to feel that I’ve gone through the whole week and Sunday is a day to gather with the others to praise Him and to hear the message, and more specifically to find and see Him. Of course we can feel Him at any single time of the day but it gives different feeling if we gather with others. Faith nourishing, perhaps? and my soul is recharged by optimism to start the coming weeks. No matter where I go, one thing remains the same: “Sunday is a church time”.
2. Meet up with boyfriend
Hihiw. We meet up either every week or two weeks. Now it becomes every week. haha. Love the quality time although it’s just as simple as going to church together, having something to eat (eat out, take away or cook ourselves), and sharing lots of stories. Sometimes go shopping too if we feel like shopping.
3. Have a massive amount of food. hahaha.
As a person who gain weight quite easily, I put a bit more effort to keep myself in the shape and weight I want which is why I care about my food (light dinner) and exercise everyday. But I’m a food monster at heart. So I just let myself eat anything (and everything) I want on Sunday. Things must get in proportion. haha.
4. blog-reading
I love reading blogs more than reading my text books, honestly. haha. Say it fashion blogs, cooking blogs, travelling blogs, or just simply life story blogs. Interesting layout and contents are preferably. I often find inspiring blogs which I enjoy reading to. Oh well, maybe I should make another post about blogs I love. Yes, I definitely should. Keep eyes on! ![]()
5. Room-cleaning
I’m quite a lazy one when it comes to room-cleaning. haha. Not to mention my loads of stuffs and messy wardrobe. But I don’t like a messy room either. haha. When i’m too lazy to organise everything, I just at least tidy the outer look (beddings, floorings, etc) and make it look sleek (or pretend it is) and I won’t care about the wardrobe as I’ll likely just throw all clothes to the cupboard no bother to fold one by one. This is what I’m working on: to have a well-organised wardrobe and to keep the all clothes folded. hard! but on Sunday, I usually hoover my room.
No matter how tough or hectic your days are, strive for them! then take a bit of laid-back time on Sunday to do whatever you want to do. Work and rest must come in balance! ![]()
